Methodology
How we test
Every grade on this site is backed by a verifiable lab report. We use High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) as the primary analytical method for all samples, to measure: Identity, Purity, and Potency.
01
Anonymous purchase
We purchase samples like an ordinary customer, acting as a "mystery shopper," so our vendors have no idea who we are—no vendor-supplied samples, no samples from PG customers. All samples are sourced, controlled, and documented by us only.
02
Chain of custody
Each vial is photographed on arrival, sealed in an evidence bag, logged with a unique sample ID, and stored cold until it reaches the lab.
03
Accredited third-party analysis
Samples ship to ISO-accredited contract labs. We run HPLC testing for Identity, Purity, and Potency.
04
Grading
Grades are assigned from the Total score, a composite of identity, purity, and quantity accuracy derived from raw lab data (not vendor claims). A = 9.0–10 / 10 (90–100%). B = 8.0–8.9 / 10 (80–89%). C = 7.0–7.9 / 10 (70–79%). D = 6.0–6.9 / 10 (60–69%). F = below 6.0 / 10 (under 60%) or failed identity/contamination check.
05
Publication
The full lab report PDF, the sample's testing date, and its grade are published on the vendor's product page. Nothing is redacted. We also upload videos documenting the entire process—from ordering the samples and receiving them, to our communications with the vendor, and finally the lab reports once they are received. We want you to see the entire process from start to finish to ensure complete transparency.
Grading scale
Based on the Total score (composite of identity, purity, and quantity accuracy), not purity alone.
